I specialise in a unique blend of abstract, vintage and brightly coloured album, EP & single sleeves for musicians/artists. I work primarily in Photoshop, but I am also savvy with Illustrator.
I very rarely turn down a brief, no matter how complex and difficult it is. I've always viewed each project as an opportunity to learn. Due to this approach, I have been able to master a variety of styles. Showcased here are a few of my favourite pieces. Since 2020, I have completed approximately 400+ music sleeves involving a variety of clients spanning many genres.
Project Case Study
I was contacted by artist/producer 'Asta Hiroki' who was hoping to create a series of sleeves for their album titled 'Continuation'. The idea was to create a collaged waterfall piece that had no clear start or end, tying into the continuation title of the album. This would be the running theme throughout the project's various covers, which all contain at least one element that has been collaged together. The project included one front-to-back album cover with six additional single covers, complete with edits and additional video content for social media.
A number of artworks and variations of them were completed for this project, alongside a physical vinyl release, where it was my role to collaborate with the print company to ensure the final piece translated to print.
During the design of the piece, I frequently checked in with the client, informing them of my progress and sending them drafts throughout for their feedback. I aimed to make the process as collaborative as possible, ensuring client satisfaction along the way.
Video
To complement my graphic design, I am also an avid video editor and have produced everything from promotional material to lyric videos. I primarily use Final Cut but I have also used Premiere Pro on occasion (depending on the project).
